Tour Programme

Day 01, ARRIVE COCHIN
The tour begins as you arrive at Cochin on the 1st day of the tour. You will be received by our representative at the airport, who will assist you and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Arriving at Cochin in the morning will give you enough time to explore the places of interest in the region. Be ready to begin your excursion trip to Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace . Check out the interiors of the palace that are decorated with the mural's from Ramayana and there are some lively displays of royal costumes and palanquins.

Later, proceed to the St. Francis Church built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD and is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India. Also visit the Bolgatty Palace and Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, live Kathakali Dance performance in Cochin.

Day 02, COCHIN / ALLEPPEY (90 minutes drive)
Alleppey/ Kumarakom (Overnight Houseboat) Post breakfast, drive to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. This place is most famous for its boat races, house boats, coir products, fish and lakes. You will get the opportunity to enchant with the fishermen in the area. Later, venture into the lush paddy fields and enjoy the natural beauty of the sea and the hills. Board Deluxe houseboat cruising in the canals going into interiors and passing through traditional villages. Overnight in houseboat.

Day 03, ARRIVE KUMARAKOM
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat in Kumarakom, that transports you to sheer ecstasy. It is an incredible experience to cruise in the backwaters around Kumarakom, set amidst the remote villages. You will be engaged in lot of adventure activities such as boating, fishing and birding.

Later in the day, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary that is home to cormorants, teals, darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, Siberian storks many other species of ducks. You may also spot golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen, tree pie etc here. After the tour, our representative will assist and escort you to the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 04, KUMARAKOM
Take a short backwaters trip in beautiful Vembanad Lake. Back to your resort and enjoy Ayurvedic Therapy (Optional) famous from this place.

Day 05, KUMARAKOM – PERIYAR (4 hours drive)
Exploration of wilderness widens on the 5th day of the tour as you drive to the Periyar national Park. Watching the rare and endangered species of the animals such as Asian elephants, barking deer, gaur, sambar, wild dogs and strolling in their herds, provides you the most enchanting experience of the lifetime. Apart from exploring the different species of plants and animals, you will also enjoy wildlife photography.

In the later half of the day, cruise through the waters in Periyar lake to enjoy wildlife and beautiful natural vistas. Later, take a tour to Spice Plantation. Overnight stay will be in Periyar. Overnight hotel – Periyar

Day 06, PERIYAR / KOVALAM (6hours drive)
After breakfast, drive to Kovalam, located in south of Trivandrum. There are two main beaches at Kovalam, separated by a high cliff. It has found a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic saloons, recuperation & regeneration resorts providing a slew of Ayurveda.

Day 07, KOVALAM
After a leisurely morning, take a short sightseeing tour, covering the main attractions of Kovalam and its beautiful beaches. Later. indulge ourself in the water sports and Ayurvedic salons (Optional).

Day 08, KOVALAM / TRIVANDRUM AIRPORT & BACK
Today is the last day of the tour. Before leaving the city, take an excursion trip to Trivandrum (10miles), an ancient city with trading traditions dating back to 1000 BC. It was a trading post for spices like the rest of ancient Kerala. Visit the famous Padmanabha Swami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is held sacred by the Hindus from antiquity. The temple has a large complex with a huge Gopuram. It has a tank beside it for ritual bathing.

Later visit other important places of tourist interest in the northern part of city. Afternoon, board flight to onward destination or back home. END OF OUR SERVICES
